Message recently i got to dyno 3 cars (including one of mine) with similar mods and boost levels on a dyno dynamics with a intake temp probe. Here is what i got on a 4th gear pull. We tried to start all runs at the same water temp and rpm

starting temp ending temp
Greddy 3 row fmic 83F 88F
Stillen smic 86F 116F
Z1 smic 82F 128F

Apparently the theory floating around that intercoolers cool the best in the first 8 - 10 inches of the core may not tell the whole story. A long core (MIGHT) pose a bigger restriction but it sure as hell is more consistent and cools better. Just a FYI the ambient temps were very close to each other (mid to high 70's)

BTW we also ran the greddy setup in steady state to tune some load cells upto 30 sec and we still had very little temp creep.

Though this might be of interest.
